The Firebird became Pontiac's first "Pony Car" in '67. Named after GM's old gas turbine powered concept in the 50s. Sharing the same wheelbase and platform of the Chevy Camaro, the Firebird possess Pontiac’s engine line theme, A-arm front suspension,
anti-roll bar and coil springs . The Firebird rear had semi-elliptic springs and solid axle. In
